Middle East thought leaders Avraham Burg and Maziar Bahari will be stateside this October for special limited tours.

Avraham Burg, former leader of the Israeli Knesset and international peace advocate, embodies a progressive approach to the Middle East conflict. His commitment to mutual understanding and open discourse is unparalleled. Burg is the founder Chairman of Molad, a think-tank for the renewal of Israeli democracy and the Chair of Mifalot, the largest sport for peace social project in the Middle East

Burg’s speaking topics include “Overcoming Barriers: Finding Common Ground Through Dialogue” as well as “The Middle East and the Politics of God.”

Documentary filmmaker and former Newsweek journalist Maziar Bahari’s experience as a political prisoner in Iran made headlines around the world. His memoir of the experience, Then They Came for Me, is set to become feature film. Bahari’s films include Iranian Odyssey, The Fall of a Shah, and Targets: Reporters in Iraq.

He speaks on topics such as “Peaceful Resistance & the Role of Social Media in the Middle East” and “The US & Iran: Challenges and Opportunities.”
