Nancy Lublin, CEO of Do Something

Hosted by Glee's Jane Lynch, on July 19 VH1 will broadcast The Do Something Awards. Honoring five young people for their commitment to social change, as well as individuals in the entertainment industry involved in activism and charity projects, the awards celebrate a new generation of do-ers and world changers.

Providing a deep understanding of teens and technology, CEO Nancy Lublin has lead Do Something in leveraging the power of social media and pop culture to inspire youth activism and help teens “rock causes they care about.”

Founder of Dress for Success and columnist for Fast Company, in her new book, Zilch: The Power of Zero in Business (released June 2010), Nancy shares what for-profit businesses can learn from not-for-profits by doing more with less – while keeping innovation, passion, and creativity high.
