Senior political correspondent for CBS News Jeff Greenfield is one of America’s most respected commentators and journalists. He is known for his quick wit and savvy insight into politics, history, the media and current events.
 
Greenfield contributes to CBS Evening News with Katie Couric, CBS News Sunday Morning, CBSNews.com and other broadcasts. He is the former host of CEO EXCHANGE on PBS, which brought together the world’s most innovative CEOs for a lively discussion about themselves, their companies, and their passions.
 
A three-time Emmy Award-winner, he twice has been named to TV Guide‘s All-Star News “Dream Team” as best political commentator and was cited by the Washington Journalism Review as “the best in the business” for his media analysis.
 
From 1998-2007 Greenfield was a senior analyst for CNN.  Prior to that, he was ABC News’ political and media analyst for 14 years. He has covered every national political convention since 1988, and has reported on virtually every important domestic political story of the past 25 years.
 
Greenfield has won three Emmy Awards, two for his reporting from South Africa and one for a profile of Ross Perot. A former speechwriter for Robert Kennedy, Greenfield has authored or co-authored 11 books including national bestseller, The People’s Choice and Oh, Waiter! One Order of Crow!, an insider account of the contested 2000 presidential election. He is currently at work on a book that focuses on "a recent look at American political history through a fictional looking glass," and will be published in February 2011.
