Joan Rivers
Comedian, TV host and CEO Joan Rivers is an icon of American culture. She is a bestselling author, Emmy Award-winning talk show host, Tony-nominated actress, writer, director, and savvy businesswoman who has overcome great odds to reinvent herself and her career time and time again.

As a speaker, Rivers gives audiences a frank, touching and hilarious look at her life and the challenges she has met during her 35 years in show business. In 1987 after her Fox talk show was canceled and her husband committed suicide, Rivers rebuilt her life. She wrote the bestsellers Enter Talking, Bouncing Back and Still Talking, wrote and starred in three Broadway plays, and co-hosted Joan and Melissa: On the Red Carpet.

Rivers performs her trademark stand-up comedy act in front of sold-out audiences in the U.S. and abroad, and is now in full control of a thriving international enterprise, Joan Rivers Worldwide, which produces some of QVC’s most successful brands. At an age when many entertainers are rendered irrelevant by trends or tabloid scrutiny, Rivers continues to beat the odds and is enjoying more success than ever.

Her last book was Don’t Count the Candles and she has a blog at Joanriversblog.com. Her new autobiographical play, The Joan Rivers Theatre Project: A Work in Progress by a Life in Progress, debuted in Los Angeles in early 2008.
