Mitch Albom
Author of Tuesdays With Morrie, The Five People You Meet in Heaven and For One More Day, writer and broadcaster Mitch Albom has become an inspiration to millions around the world.
 
Tuesdays with Morrie became an international phenomenon with over 14 million copies sold and is now the bestselling memoir of all time. Oprah Winfrey made it into an Emmy Award-winning TV film starring Jack Lemmon and Hank Azaria.
 
In 2003 Albom’s first novel, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, debuted at #1 on The New York Times bestseller list and sold nearly five million copies in its first year. In 2004 he wrote the screenplay for the ABC TV movie starring Jon Voight and Ellen Burstyn.
 
His latest #1 New York Times bestseller, For One More Day, explores the themes of family, divorce, and lost loved ones. Produced by Oprah Winfrey, it aired on ABC in December 2007.

A columnist for the Detroit Free Press, Albom also hosts two radio shows that originate in Detroit on WJR-AM and reach 38 states. He has appeared on many TV programs including Oprah, The Today Show, Larry King Live and Charlie Rose, and his articles have been featured in The New York Times, GQ and Sports Illustrated.
