Susan Estrich
Legal & political analyst and author Susan Estrich is one of the nation’s leading legal scholars and public intellectuals. The Robert Kingsley Professor of Law and Political Science at the University of Southern California, she is known for her quick wit and humor on Fox News where she regularly appears as the “house  liberal” and is a major fixture during presidential campaigns.
 
Estrich has paved the way for countless women to attain positions of leadership. She was the first woman ever to run a national presidential campaign, the first woman president of the Harvard Law Review and the youngest woman to be tenured at Harvard Law School. She has been a senior advisor to four presidential campaigns, has written briefs on reproductive rights for the Supreme Court, and clerked for Justice John Paul Stevens.
 
A syndicated columnist, Estrich is the author of numerous books and articles about law, politics and women, including Sex & Power and The Case for Hillary Clinton. She is best known in academic circles for her path-breaking work on the law of sexual assault, notably her book Real Rape. She has worked on an array of high-profile cases in the last two decades, representing clients such as Michael Milken. In January 2008 she joined the law firm of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart Oliver & Hedges, LLP as Of Counsel doing complex civil and criminal litigation.
