I just wanted to let you know what a HUGE success last night was. Mr. Klein was an amazing speaker. More than one person on our faculty and staff mentioned that he was the best speaker we have ever had here for a Weatherspoon Lecture or Deans Speaker Event. |
| | University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill |

Joe Klein was excellent. Humorous, filled with interesting stories and angles on stories. We had a standing room only crowd of 500 people,
and the feedback was outstanding. He took questions for about 45 minutes ... Probably our best lecture in eight years. |

...Thanks again for your insights and for a thought-provoking evening. People were still talking about it the next morning at breakfast. Your unique perspective and
sense of context engaged the group in a way I've never seen at one of our conferences. I've heard a lot of very positive and appreciative comments... You did a
great job, and we all enjoyed it. |

Joe was a hit... articulate, funny and insightful. The students loved him... especially at dinner. |
| | University of Georgia |

He was absolutely wonderful…down to earth, great delivery, he won their hearts. He is very balanced in his reporting, they talked afterwards about the article in the New Yorker about Kerry; he is a very rational man, mild mannered, not emotional, very reasonable and easy to work with. They were mostly conservatives and they enjoyed listening to him. |

...Joe Klein makes you laugh and think at the same time. His incisive commentary and quick wit combine to provide a real insight into national affairs while making
our political leaders come alive for the audience. |
| | Public Financial Management |

He was great.... Very lively, terrific with the students, and he kept the audience glued. |
| | Mount Holyoke College |

...a thoughtful, witty and [in his reflections on his own college years] quite moving. |
| | Franklin and Marshall College |

...gave the participants a better understanding of how Washington really works...lively, entertaining, and thought-provoking. |
| | Automotive Service Industry Association |

Superb...Delightful and informative. Our members gave him very high ratings. On a scale of 1 to 5, he got a 4.2. We would certainly use him again. |
| | Institutional Investor |

...a great talk, [Joe Klein] provided some wonderful food for thought for the State's leaders. I'm sure you have given them several years food to chew on. Perhaps
this will keep them out of mischief for a while. |
| | Delaware Public Policy Institute Forum |

Our annual Client Conference was a huge success due in great part to the insights and experiences you shared. Your perspective on the 2000 presidential elections was both entertaining and informative. |
| | Fidelity Investments |

...Your conversation with Jim Follows was a fine capstone event for our "New York State Policy Day." Your remarks were great. I'm a "radical moderate " too. |
| | Nelson A Rockefeller Institute of Government |

...Your participation contributed to the meeting's success and I want to personally acknowledge your part in our quality program. The meeting was a great success. |
| | Fixed Income Forum |

Joe was wonderful. He was the perfect addition to our luncheon. |
| | Russell Reynolds Associates |

...Incisive discussions of social issues continue to distinguish his work...hard-hitting |
